FAQ's

A: We charge by the unit size(s) you occupy at the time. Our current prices are available by using our Get a Quote (LINK). If you need help with choosing the right size, have a look at our Storage Size Guide (link)
A: Yes. All our prices include VAT and minimum storage insurance cover of £1,000 sum insured. Higher values can be given but a higher premium is charged. This will be shown on your quote. Note document storage is quoted excluding VAT and Insurance.
A: No. But we do require you to pay in advance, and special terms apply if you pay in arrears and this is explained in your Storage Agreement.
A: Simply call in to our office ahead of your move in day if using our mobile storage, or check-in on the day you store if using your own van.
A: For domestic customers, we require your first months' rent by debit card followed by a monthly direct debit until you wish to cancel your Storage Agreement with us. If you want short term storage, you can pay for extra days or weeks by debit card in your second month. (Corporate accounts have special terms on application).
A: You have unlimited access during our opening times. We are open 7 days a week excluding Bank Holidays, Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. See Opening Times (Link) Note your valid photo ID must be presented to us on arrival at our store before you access your unit. No notice is required when using our outdoor 20ft storage units.
A: No. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can book your access slot at our storage centre, giving you space to look through your unit if required. We can usually provide access at short notice subject to availability on the day.
A: Yes, provided we have availability. Just call us to request this.
A: Yes. Just call or email us and we'll confirm this to you by email. Cancellations for mobile storage within 24 hours before collection may incur a small admin fee, we will explain this to you at the time.
A: For our domestic customers, one week is sufficient and can be made by the same email address given at check-in, or by letter confirming your unit numbers and name clearly shown. For our Corporate customers, please refer to your Storage Agreement terms made at the start of your storage rental. A: Yes. Just call or email us and we'll confirm this to you by email. Cancellations for mobile storage within 24 hours before collection may incur a small admin fee, we will explain this to you at the time.

Flammable substances,

Explosive substances (inc fireworks)

Toxic substances, or any item that emits fumes, smell or odour

LPG cylinders or any other compressed gas

Paint, thinners, petrol or oil

Illegal and counterfeit goods

Food or perishable items

Firearms or ammunition

Chemicals

Used vehicles or parts

Plants, animals or any other creatures

Commercial and household waste items, tyres, asbestos, hazardous waste materials

High value items i.e jewellery, money, bonds, fine art or wines

Other questions

A: No. Our storage facility is well ventilated and indoor units are built off the floor so no risk of damp penetration.
A: Yes. At the time of check-in you can add up to a further three names to have authority to your unit and their valid photo ID will be and signature will be required in advance of access.
A: No. This service is not available but we can direct you to the local council tip which are usually open 7 days. If rubbish is left in your unit after use, we will make a charge for its removal.
